The principle of LAPHIA's call for projects is to support innovative research initiatives on laser, photonics and imaging. Applications are evaluated by external experts and members of the Scientific Council.
The call is now closed. All information:
Research projects are selected by the Scientific Committees and Director, in accordance with the cluster's overall strategy and according to the following criteria:
- Supporting high quality projects
- Promoting cooperation between LAPHIA teams
- Strengthening the local structuring of LAPHIA
Although the funding is primarily dedicated to LAPHIA partners, collaborations with other IdEx partners will be welcome, as well as collaborations with external non-funding partners. The main objective is to ensure that the LAPHIA has a dynamic effect on its environment, whether in the basic disciplines or in neighbouring disciplines.
LAPHIA's support aims to generate financial leverage. Although no pre-financing is required, project leaders are expected to seek and put forward any additional funding that could consolidate the first LAPHIA support. In addition, the LAPHIA support can be used as a supplement to an existing project involving one or more Cluster teams (provided that the project manager can demonstrate a major scientific added value and an organisational synergistic effect of the LAPHIA support). While French and European organisations are already providing aid for medium-term (2 to 4 years) projects, LAPHIA wishes to be complementary - particularly for short-term high-risk projects or to help structure long-term projects.
For our annual calls for projects, we propose to support
- Risky Project (RP)
- Passport Project (PP)
- Research Mobility Project (RM) for Teams
In the last Call for Projects, you will find details and definitions of the Risky, Passport and Mobility projects.
